Federal Subsistence Harvest of Wildlife Regulations Book Now Available

An electronic version of the July 1, 2016 to June 30, 2018 Federal Subsistence Management Regulations for the Harvest of Wildlife on Federal Public Lands in Alaska book is now available on the Federal Subsistence Management Program’s website:  https://www.doi.gov/sites/doi.gov/files/uploads/wildlife_regs_16-18.pdf. It is anticipated that printed copies of the regulations will be available by the end of July.

Federal Subsistence Board lifts closure of Federal public lands on the Nushagak Peninsula to the harvest of caribou for RY2016/17

The Federal Subsistence Board has approved Temporary Special Action Request WSA16-02, which opens Federal public lands on the Nushagak Peninsula to the harvest of caribou July 1, 2016 – June 30, 2017.  This change applies to the portion of Units 17A and 17C south of the Igushik River, Tuklung River and Tuklung Hills, west to Tvativak Bay.
