Colorado Flood (2013)

The Natural and Cultural Resources Recovery Support Function (NCR RSF) deployed six staff from the U.S. Department of the Interior (Office of Environmental Policy and Compliance, Bureau of Indian Affairs, National Park Service, and Fish and Wildlife Service) and one from the USDA Natural Resource Conservation Service for a period of five months beginning in October 2013. Major technical support areas included: water diversions, orphan containers, contaminated sites, fish and habitat passage, threatened and endangered species, historic properties, invasive species, rivers and trail recreation, and Unified Federal Review. The NCR RSF Team provided input to the Mission Scoping Assessment and Recovery Support Strategy reports and a Fish Passage report. The team also led a fish passage webinar.
