The newly formed Water Subcabinet will increase coordination between Federal agencies and members of the South Florida Ecosystem Restoration Task Force to implement and complete the Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan.

It was President Trump that called for Congress to deliver the single largest investment in America’s national parks and conservation in history. The Great American Outdoors Act establishes the National Parks and Public Land Legacy Restoration Fund, providing $9.5 billion for national parks, wildlife refuges, campgrounds, forests and American Indian schools over the next five years, and it permanently and fully funds the Land and Water Conservation Fund at $900 million per year, forever. 

 U.S. Department of the Interior Deputy Secretary Kate MacGregor joined U.S. Senator John Hoeven and other officials to finalize the transfer of the Oakes Test Area to local ownership. This is the third water-related facility transferred under a law signed by President Trump last year.

Since the program launched in 2018, more than 450 companies have signed the Pledge to America’s Workers, committing to support more than 16.3 million job and training-related opportunities for American workers.

An Executive Order directs the Council to develop, coordinate and promote the Federal government’s interactions with the One Trillion Trees Initiative to promote tree growing, conservation, restoration and coordination with key stakeholders.

President Donald Trump has championed policies to bring these jobs back to the United States, and his administration is continuing to take major steps forward to ensure our rightful place in the mining, processing, and manufacturing of critical minerals.

When completed, the project will convey clean water from Pueblo Reservoir via 230 miles of pipelines to 40 communities and a projected future population of 50,000 people in Southeastern Colorado.

Once abundant from New Jersey to Florida, west to Texas and north to Missouri, the red-cockaded woodpecker’s range had dwindled to just a handful of states by the 1960s, following more than a century of habitat loss. Today, the Service estimates nearly 7,800 clusters are ranging across 11 states from southern Virginia to eastern Texas.
