The Cloud Movement

The DOI Cloud Program provides the stepping stones for customers looking to take advantage of the Foundation Cloud Hosting Services (FCHS) contract and other available services to acquire cloud-based services for their organization. The cloud presents new opportunities to modernize information technology (IT) delivery, reduce the burden of infrastructure expenditures and operations, and provide flexibility with on-demand services. Cloud computing offers the Government an opportunity to be more efficient, agile, and innovative through more effective use of IT investments.
