Performance Assessment and Management

The Office implements comprehensive assessments of programmatic performance across the Department and advises bureaus and offices on ways to improve program performance and efficiency.

The Office also provides support to help identify the appropriate method(s) used to gather evidence, assess risk, and evaluate program efficiency, effectiveness, and performance.

The Office is the Department’s designated lead for performance related engagements managed by the Office of Management and Budget.
