Q) Will All visitors be required to use the C Street MIB entrance?

A) Yes, with exceptions made for inclement weather, disabled individual access, and employees who forgot their PIV II cards.

Q) Are all lanes available for entry and exit?

A) Yes, all lanes are bidirectional and can be used for both entry and exit.

Q) Will visitor forms still be required for unescorted entry?

A) Yes, visitor information should be sent to the security services inbox at least 24 hours before the visitor plans to arrive.

Q) Will a guard be present after Phase III begins?

A) Yes, a guard will be stationed at the turnstiles to assist with any issues.

Q) Will visitors receive paper badges as in the past?

A) No, plastic badges will be issued for visitors in the VPC.

Q) Will exit times be available to anyone?

A) No, entry or exit time requests will be handled on a case-by-case basis by the Assistant Director of Internal Security.

Q) Will the turnstiles be open during an emergency evacuation?

A) Yes, the turnstile will deactivate during a fire alarm or can be manually deactivated during any other emergency situation.

Q) Will the gates close on someone going through?

A) No, the turnstile have sensors to ensure no one is struck by the gates.
