Federal Subsistence Board to hold work session in Anchorage August 7 – 8, 2018

The Federal Subsistence Board (Board) will hold a work session August 7 – 8, 2018. The work session will begin at 1:00 p.m. on August 7 and at 8:30 a.m. on August 8 (if needed). The meeting will be held at the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Alaska Regional Office building, Gordon Watson Conference Room, at 1011 East Tudor Road in Anchorage.

During the work session, the Board will discuss Regional Advisory Council Annual Report Replies, possible revision of wildlife delegation of authority for Unit 2 wolves, status updates of pending Federal subsistence regulations, a review of the Fisheries Resource Monitoring Program proposal process, and a proposed community harvest system managed by the Ahtna Inter-Tribal Resource Commission. The Board may discuss other business items.
