How to Volunteer

Annually, in March, ESF #11 NCH will solicit the Bureaus within the Department of the Interior for individuals from within their workforce for possible deployment under ESF #11 NCH, should an activation of the National Response Framework occur. ESF #11 NCH works with the National Park Service's Emergency Incident Coordination Center to compile a list of volunteers that can be searched to identify individuals to deploy in the event of a disaster.
Should you be interested in volunteering for ESF #11 NCH, we ask that you download the volunteer resource form that you find below and submit it both to ESF #11 NCH's National Coordinator and the NPS EICC.  The only requirements for your participation are that you are a current employee of the Department of the Interior and that you have been granted permission from your supervisor to be deployed on a Mission Assignment to do work under ESF #11 NCH.

Access the Volunteer Resource Form.
