Karen Ann Hoffman

Contemporary Iroquois raised beadwork with strong cultural connections to Iroquois history and traditional stories. My beadwork is included in the permanent collections of the National Museum of the American Indian, Smithsonian Institution; Wisconsin State Museum; New York State Museum; and Indianapolis Children’s Museum.

My beadwork has been exhibited at the Mitchell Museum of the American Indian, Evanston, IL; Iroquois Indian Museum, Howe’s Cave, NY; Wisconsin History Museum, Madison, WI; Neville Museum, Green Bay, WI; Memorial Hall Museum, Deerfield, MA; and the Castellani Art Museum, Niagara Falls, NY.
