Stewart Lee Udall Building Visitors Information

The Stewart Lee Udall Building, located at 1849 C Street, NW, Washington, DC 20240 is accessible to the general public wishing to visit the Interior Museum, Indian Craft Shop and Interior Library.

Before you visit the Udall Building, please read the following information.

All visitors must enter the building through the C Street lobby, located between 18th and 19th Streets, NW

  • Individuals over 18 years of age are required to present a valid government-issued photo ID to enter.
  • All visitors are subject to security screenings, including bag and parcel checks. 
  • All visitors must comply with COVID-19 restrictions as posted at the building entrance.
    • When the COVID-19 Hospital Admission Level is Low or Medium, visitors do not need to wear a face mask,
      but may do so if they want to.
    • When the COVID-19 Hospital Admission Level is High, visitors are required to wear a mask to enter.
