August 31 through September 3, 2020

The 2020 DOI's Digital Week concluded with 4 days of immersive presentations of solutions designed to complement mission needs. This included Section 508 accessibility training and features and functionality of Microsoft and Adobe products.

Integrating Accessibility into Information and Communication Technology

May 16, 2019

An interactive Section 508 awareness event was held on Thursday, May 16, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. ET. 

The presentations educated staff on Section 508 accessibility requirements, explained the importance of accessible technology in the lives of persons with disabilities, and identified tools and resources to help personnel meet accessibility requirements. In addition, vendors exhibited accessible solutions that improve accessibility and opportunity for persons with disabilities.

Presentations were conducted by the General Services Administration, Adobe, Esri, Georgia Institute of Technology, and Gratzer Graphics.
