Southern Plains Indian Museum to Feature Holiday Craft Event

Anadarko, Oklahoma:  The Southern Plains Indian Museum, administered by the U.S. Department of the Interior, Indian Arts and Crafts Board, in partnership with the Southern Plains Community Arts Association, will host a Holiday Craft Day and Storytelling event on December 14, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Activities will include ornament making and storytelling.  Each participant will have the opportunity to make two decorative ornaments with optional gift wrapping. 

Refreshments will be served courtesy of the Southern Plains Community Arts Association.  This event is free and open to the public.  

The Southern Plains Indian Museum is managed by the U.S. Department of the Interior, Indian Arts and Crafts Board.  Regular viewing hours are Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  All exhibits at the museum are free and open to the public.
