2017 Yukon River Fall Salmon Fishery News Release #61 Districts 4 and 5 Commercial Fishing

Fall Season Emergency Order # 53

By regulation, the 2017 commercial salmon fishing seasons in Districts 4 and 5 will close effective 11:59 p.m. September 30.

The preliminary total harvests were 1,402 fall chum salmon in Subdistrict 4-A, and 1,952 fall chum salmon in Subdistricts 5-B and 5-C.

The closing of the commercial fishing season in either district does not affect their current subsistence fishing schedule.
