The Indian Arts and Crafts Board Announces Winners of Youth Art Contest

RAPID CITY, SOUTH DAKOTA: The Sioux Indian Museum, administered by the Indian Arts and Crafts Board, U.S. Department of the Interior, will feature artwork from the 2015-2016 Youth Art Contest sponsored by the Indian Arts and Crafts Board. The artwork is currently on exhibit through February 22, 2016, at the Sioux Indian Museum, located inside Journey Museum and Learning Center.

The winners of the contest are as follows:

1st Place, A Bright Recognition, Shawna Lessert, Oglala Sioux Tribe

2nd Place, Changing Disaster, J. Janis, Bay Mills Indian Community

3rd Place, Lakota Woman, Breanna Good Shield, Rosebud Sioux Tribe
