Secretary of the Interior Dirk Kempthorne, on Wednesday, November 14, at 8:00 a.m., will prepare and serve complimentary pancakes to Interior employees at a “Thanks-for-giving” event. The event will provide the Secretary an opportunity to thank Interior employees for their public service and encourage giving to those in need. Employees will have an opportunity to donate canned goods at the event.
Secretary Kempthorne, along with Guest Services, will personally pay for the pancake ingredients. Guest Services manages the Interior cafeteria.
