WASHINGTON, D.C. – Deputy Secretary of the Interior Lynn Scarlett will address the 21st Plenary Meeting of the Committee on Earth Observation Satellites today, Tuesday, November 13, in Hawaii.
The Deputy Secretary will deliver opening remarks to the three-day conference and will focus on the importance of timely, accurate satellite data in the execution of the Department of the Interior’s multifaceted mission.
The Committee on Earth Observation Satellites (CEOS) is an international organization charged with coordinating international civil spaceborne missions designed to observe and study planet Earth.
