(WASHINGTON) -- U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Director Dale Hall and retired Vice Admiral Conrad Lautenbacher, administrator of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, will attend a cooperative conservation “listening session” in Brunswick, Ga. on Thursday, Sept. 21, 2006.
The session will take place in the Terrill Thomas Auditorium at Coastal Georgia Community College’s Southeast Georgia Conference Center. The session begins at 1:00 p.m. The media availability will be at 12:30.
The “listening session” is one in a series of public meetings across the country to solicit and exchange ideas on incentives, partnership programs, and regulations that can improve results and promote cooperative conservation and environmental partnerships. In addition to Interior and Commerce, the Agriculture Department, the Environmental Protection Agency, and the White House Council on Environmental Quality are sponsoring the sessions.
