Acting Assistant Secretary Burton, EPA Regional Administrator Roberts to Attend "Listening" Session in Pinedale, WY.; Hold Media Availability

(WASHINGTON) - Acting Assistant Interior Secretary Johnnie Burton and Environmental Protection Agency Regional Administrator Robbie Roberts will attend a cooperative conservation "listening session" in Pinedale, Wyoming, on Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2006. The session will take place at the Sublette County Library at 1 p.m., preceded by a media availability at 12:30 p.m.

The "listening session" is one in a series of public meetings across the country to solicit and exchange ideas on incentives, partnership programs, and regulations that can improve results and promote cooperative conservation and environmental partnerships. In addition to Interior and EPA, the Agriculture Department, the Commerce Department and the White House Council on Environmental Quality are sponsoring the sessions.
