U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Director Dale Hall to Attend "Listening Session" in Omaha

(WASHINGTON) – U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Director Dale Hall will attend a cooperative conservation “listening session” in Omaha, Neb., on Thursday, Aug. 24, 2006. The session will take place in the Junior Ballroom at the Qwest Center Omaha-Convention Center, beginning at 1 p.m. A news media availability will be held with Hall from 12:30 to 12:50 p.m.

The “listening session” is one in a series of public meetings across the country to solicit and exchange ideas on incentives, partnership programs, and regulations that can improve results and promote cooperative conservation and environmental partnerships. In addition to Interior and EPA, the Agriculture Department, the Commerce Department and the White House Council on Environmental Quality are sponsoring the sessions.
