Chapter 3: POSITION SENSITIVITY AND RISK LEVEL DESIGNATION CRITERIA (2)

Chapter 3 is updated to be consistent with the Office of Personnel Management’s suitability processing handbook, dated March 2003.  The revisions reflect changes in the Office of Personnel Management’s requirements for designating and investigating public trust positions.  Further, the chapter is rearranged to clarify and distinguish the considerations for suitability investigations for national security duties, general public trust duties, and public trust duties that have regular contact with or control over children.
