Digital Transformation

IBC’s Financial Management Associate Director, Wendell ‘Baze’ Bazemore, joined other government executives and industry leaders in a dynamic conversation centered on digital transformation. During the session, they discussed how digitization can transform federal agency operations for better experiences for customers and employees. Baze shared information about IBC’s FY23 focus on IT modernization, employee experience and customer experience. He also mentioned IBC’s work to advance Process Automation and workflow automation, which allows for efficiencies and lower cost, high value analytical work. IBC has 21 automations in production, which allows our customers to have greater capacity and also compliments the suite of tools and resources already at their disposal.

Shared Services and FM QSMO

During the event, IBC’s Financial Management Associate Director, Wendell ‘Baze’ Bazemore, and Bureau of the Fiscal Service’s Chief Customer Officer, Matthew Garber, led a discussion on what federal agencies can expect when seeking and adopting a shared services solution. They also hosted a session to provide an overview of the Financial Management QSMO Marketplace and talk about how federal agencies can leverage the benefits of a shared service environment to support their financial management needs.
