FY 2021 Acquisition Support Services - Letter from IBC Head of the Contracting Activity

AQD is very excited to begin another year of providing assisted acquisition services to the Department of the Interior and all other federal agencies. Fiscal Year (FY) 2020 was challenging as we all navigated through the COVID-19 pandemic, but AQD adjusted to remote work and we did not miss a beat. We secured nearly 40 new customers and executed over 2,200 new contracts and financial assistance awards for various professional services; Information Technology (IT) equipment, licenses, and services; construction; aviation; research and development; and various other goods and services. 

As we begin FY 2021, I would take this opportunity to provide all customers with our Procurement Action Lead Times (PALT) and Procurement Request (PR) Package cut-off dates. This information is kept on our webpage (link below):


These timelines are provided to assist with acquisition planning and to manage expectations of the procurement process. While these dates provide targets, we very much want to discuss any specific requirements with you to ensure our understanding, map out a strategy, and develop more precise milestones.
