Raised in a Navajo weaving family and produces handcrafted, functional weaving tools, including battens, combs in various sizes and shapes to accommodate any width of weaving. Works with all types of woods, including oak, maple, mahogany, purple heart, red heart, fir and cedar. Also manufactures finishing tools, umbrella needles, wood hooks and metal-toothed weaving combs for students.

Sugar Bear Alaskan Treasures

We make Southeast Alaska wearable art, using materials pre- and post-contact. We handcraft Southeast Alaska Native regalia (blankets, tunics, vests, weaving, beading, etc.). We also produce fur products (coats, shawls, headbands, hats, etc.).

Additionally, we create jewelry using old and new materials (jade, abalone, copper, silver, shell, crystals, bone, pearls, turquoise, and historic trade beads).

Our art reflects a traditional style utilizing contemporary materials and techniques.
