Southern Plains Indian Museum to Host Halloween Storytelling

ANADARKO, OKLAHOMA:  The Southern Plains Indian Museumadministered by the Indian Arts and Crafts Board, U.S. Department of the Interior, in partnership with the Delaware Nation, will host a Halloween storytelling event on October 20, 2016, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Registration will begin at 6:00 p.m.  The first 150 participants will receive a free T-shirt, compliments of the Delaware Nation.  Activities will include a pumpkin carving contest for children of all ages starting at 4:30 p.m., a Bigfoot bake off, and a fun walk from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.  Storytelling will begin at 6:30 p.m.  There will be a special guest appearance by “Bigfoot”.

This event is free and open to the public and all storytellers are welcome.
