The Federal Benefits Open Season runs from Nov. 10-Dec. 8, 2014. DOI D.C. metro area employees can learn more by attending health fairs in Herndon, Va., on Nov. 18 and in Washington, D.C. on Nov. 20. All DOI employees can visit www.opm.gov/insure to view plan information and use comparison tools. They can also make changes or enroll in health benefits at www.employeeexpress.gov and flexible spending at www.fsafeds.com.

The Federal Benefits Open Season will run from November 10, 2014, through December 8, 2014. This year the following open season fairs are scheduled for the Washington, D.C., metro area and sponsored by the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement and other DOI bureaus.

These health fairs will provide you the valuable opportunity to discuss your insurance needs with a representative. Representatives that will be in attendance are health insurance carriers, supplemental dental and vision insurance carriers, the Interior Federal Credit Union, Long Term Care Insurance Partners, FSAFEDS (flexible spending accounts) and many more. The information that will be provided will help you make informed decisions about your family's insurance needs.
