PB 23-01 Workers' Compensation Return to Work Policy

This Personnel Bulletin (PB) sets forth the Department of the Interior’s (the Department or Interior) policy for returning injured workers to productive duty as soon as medically possible. This policy provides an overview of the rights and responsibilities of Interior employees, who are subject to the Federal Employees’ Compensation Act (FECA), as well as the role of the Department’s management in the process. This PB supersedes PB 09-02, Workers’ Compensation Return to Work Program, dated April 29, 2009.
