Position Overview

DOI relies on a variety of administrative specialists to support land use planning, environmental coordination, energy and minerals oversight, managing recreational facilities or conservation initiatives, obtaining specialized scientific and technical skills and services, and much more. Every job is different but every task is important!

Candidate Description

The ideal candidate works well with people and likes to make sure things get done. He or she enjoys doing research to track down the right person or other necessary information. Writing, analytical, project planning/management and automated systems skills are important. Some positions rely on resource management knowledge.

Work Environment

Mostly indoors, in an office setting.

    • Ensures program compliance with laws, regulations, and guidance
