Loan Services
The DOI ACCESS Center may loan selected pieces of equipment, as available, to DOI employees in the Washington Metro area for use outside the ACCESS Center. The loans are short-term, usually less than 2 weeks, and allow employees to evaluate solutions before purchasing equipment.
The DOI ACCESS Center maintains electric scooters for employees within the Main and South Interior Buildings that demonstrate a temporary need for mobility assistance. Scooter loans are short-term, less than 8 weeks, for employees with documented temporary mobility issues. Employees requesting use of a scooter must submit a 
scooter request form to ACCESSCTR@ios.doi.gov.
